How to Play

Game Rules

The game rules are very simple, as the gameplay focuses mostly on the thrill. There is an opportunity given to players of gaining high strategy. Moreover, for the players who have gained expertise or are able to count cards, they convert the odds more in that player's favor to win.

Before any of the cards are dealt, the player must place a bet/wager. The player will then be dealt 2 cards face up and then the Dealer will also be dealt 2 cards but only one card will be placed face up and the other will be placed face down. Then, the player must decide that whether he has to take another card (hit), or he has to stick with the cards he has. Once the player decides on his play, the Dealer will only then decide how to play his hand.

The blackjack game gives ace a flexible value. It can be worth either 11 or 1. Usually, the ace will have a value of number 11. The ace value changes when the player asks for an extra card that gives him a total value over 21. Hence, if this happens this would mean losing the game, & consequently the value of the ace changes to 1. For Example: When the player has a hand, where he receives an ace with the value of 17, then the value of the ace will be 1. Hence, the total value of the hand will then be 18 OR When the player has been dealt a 4 and a 6 & then receives an ace, so the ace will have a value of 11.

When the cards are dealt & the players don't have blackjack, they will have the following options

  • Split Splits means, when you have received 2 cards consisting the same value, then you have an option to split these into 2 playable hands. Here you have to be careful as your bet may double as well.
  • Stand Under ‘stand’, you are content with your cards & you don't wish to receive any more cards.
  • Hit Under this condition, you can ask for an extra card to increase the value of your hand.
  • Double Here under Double, you get to double your bet & then receive one more card. Later, after this, you cannot receive any more cards.

Basic Rules

  • 1. When both bank and the player have blackjack, it's a tie or push.
  • 2. A tie is known as a push, which means nobody wins.
  • 3. The hand which has the highest value wins.
  • 4. If the bank's hand value is less than 16, it can never stand.
  • 5. The value of the bank's hand must be 17 to have a stand.

The main strategy is when the dealer's up card is a 7, 8, 9, 10-card which is considered a good one, or its an ace. Then the player shouldn't stop to draw until a total of 17 or more is reached.

Other than this, if the dealer's up card is a 4, 5, or 6, which is considered a poor one, the player should then stop to draw as he gets a total of 12 or higher. The main strategy over here is, to never take a card if there is any chance of going bust. The motive here is to let the dealer hit & hopefully go over 21.

Finally, when the dealer's up card 2 or 3 which is a fair one, then the player should stop getting a total of 13 or higher.
